Ray Foxx follows up his summer smash ‘Boom Boom (Heartbeat)’ with the funk infused ‘Fireworks (Bang Bang)’.
Returning to his debut release ‘The Trumpeter’ for inspiration, Ray opts for an infectious, Latin tinged saxophone lead groove which is complimented by a captivating and soulful vocal from fellow Londoner J Warner, who recently added vocals to the Tinie Tempah track ‘5 Minutes’.
Already the recipient of a ‘Targo Embargo’ from Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Target and with early support from BBC’s MistaJam, 1Xtra’s Cameo, Kiss FM’s Wideboys, DJ EZ, Firin’ Squad, Pioneer and Steve Smart, Kiss Fresh’s Mike Delinquent, Capital Xtra’s Ras Kwame and Coco Cole plus Rinse FM’s Roska. ‘Fireworks (Bang Bang)’ looks set to continue Ray Foxx’s dancefloor domination into 2014.
Includes remixes from Kry Wolf, Ben Mono, DJ Q, Koncept and Steve Smart & Westfunk. Find them here https://soundcloud.com/strictlyrhythm/sets/ray-foxx-feat-j-warner.
Rolling with a superhero theme, the ‘Fireworks (Bang Bang)’ official video is Chronicle meets Marvel, featuring a cameo from Ray Foxx himself and J Warner, directed by Tom Paton.
