Slimepunk specialist Ethan Glass drops the appropriately titled ‘Real Heavy EP’ this April: four ferocious experimental bass-heavy cuts set to blast you into another dimension.
Ethan Glass is a producer originally out of Richmond, VA. He first caught the attention of the underground with his debut EP released on the German label Saturate, who have released music from a number of scene-leading artists including G Jones, Bleep Bloop and NastyNasty. Glass has a powerful and distinct musical vision: one that is never afraid to push boundaries and incorporate a variety of influences into his own unique sound.
His experimental music sits somewhere between trap and bass, and is ultimately hard to categorise. What’s crystal clear however is the effect his music is having on the masses. His latest release is ‘Real Heavy’, a four track EP that includes cut ‘Combo Breaker’ – a hard-hitting slimepunk anthem which has already gained live support at major festivals from artists like Bassnectar, Liquid Stranger, and Space Jesus.
Alongside ‘Combo Breaker’ are three brand new records – title track ‘Real Heavy’, ‘Max400’ and ‘Down’ – all unpredictable and devastating in their own respect, and records that further establish Glass as a force to be reckoned with.
