RUZE and Chesster return to PIV Records with groove-laden EP ‘Remember’

Dynamic duo RUZE have linked up with Italian producer Chesster once again with their latest collaborative EP ‘Remember’, featuring DJ Spen out on PIV Records.

The EP opens with ‘Remember’, a pumping and vibrant slice of house music featuring the iconic DJ Spen. Rooted in the classic sounds of Chicago house, the track blends soulful vocal chops and punchy kick-drums, radiating feel-good energy from start to finish. Next up is ‘Monday Night’, a stripped-back roller built around dubby percussion and a catchy four-to-the-floor rhythm. RUZE and Chesster’s chemistry shines through in a production that feels effortless, delivering a track that’s tailor-made for the dancefloor. Closing out the EP is ‘NY Project’, a deeper cut that dives into the underground with sensual, hypnotic beats and a raw, stripped-back groove. Together, the tracks form a versatile journey through contemporary underground house, equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking, channeling the pulse of dancefloors that live and breathe groove.

Speaking about the EP, RUZE explains:

A visit from Chesster to our hometown of Birmingham led to the birth of Remember. We locked ourselves in the studio for a day and night, and by the end of it, the track was ready for its first spin on dancefloors around the world. We sent it over to Prunk, who started playing it out that same weekend. Suddenly, the DMs started rolling in – people were asking for the ID and when it was dropping. PIV instantly felt like the natural home for the record, so we set out to finish a few more tunes to complete the EP.

Chesster adds:

‘Remember’ is the first track RUZE and I ever made together, so it means a lot to me. From the moment we started picking sounds and samples, we knew it had something special – and it’s become one of my most requested IDs over the past year. Proud of this one, and the EP as a whole. It’s a fun, varied package that blends both our takes on house music.

British producers RUZE continues to build serious momentum across the UK and European club scenes – named as an artist to watch by Beatport, with support from Pete Tong and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1. They caught the attention of music industry heads with their 2021 ‘Chapters’ EP and 2024 Journey LP which was released on PIV Records. Their groove-heavy sets have landed them on iconic stages including Tomorrowland, fabric, and Pacha Barcelona, and collaborations with the likes of George Meddles, Kyle Walker, Josh Butler, and Ranger Trucco.

Chesster, meanwhile, is quickly establishing himself as a rising name in house music. In 2024, the esteemed producer released his ‘Tribute’ EP with PIV Records which was the beginning of a new creative chapter and cemented his musical identity within the underground. With releases on PIV, Factory 93, Dansu Discs, and Range, Chesster’s sound is deeply rooted in the early 2000s golden era of house and techno – a foundation that fuels his evolving, modern style.

Cementing their status as artists to watch, RUZE and Chesster effortlessly showcase their talent and artistry with their fresh EP ‘Remember Me’, a testament to their musical abilities.
