Opening with a rolling rhythm, plucky synths and a marching beat, Sander builds momentum by weaving in spiralling strings alongside ONR’s captivating lyrics for a mesmerising, larger-than-life track with a taste of old school Doorn flavour. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught producer Robert Shields – best known as ONR – has come a long way from his childhood days of rural isolation in the Scottish Highlands. Driven by an unwavering passion for music, Shields spent his young adulthood relentlessly refining his songwriting and production capabilities – a unique sound that has gone on to earn him recognition from peers across the music world such as Nile Rodgers, Bastille and most recently Sander van Doorn. Having recently signed to major label Warner Records, ONR’s latest single ‘Must Stop’ ft.
