Sander Van Doorn ‘Temper Temper’ (Feat. ONR)
With most of the world on lockdown, the 2020 festival season was subsequently cancelled due to the global pandemic, wiping out a much yearned for release from everyday life for millions of revellers across the world. Far more than just a party, these live events give fans a chance to come together and dance as one, united by their passion for music, meeting new friends and making memories that will last a lifetime. The official video accompaniment to ‘Temper Temper’ is an emotional tribute to the loss that we all feel from this current lack of live events, using footage of Sander’s previous festival appearances, laced with shots of people dancing and hugging and the sense of community that is so sorely missed right now.
One of the pioneers of the electronic music scene, Sander van Doorn continues to break boundaries and assert his production prowess, delivering a wide-ranging slew of impeccable releases from across the dance music spectrum under both his own and his Purple Haze moniker. With touring on hold, Sander continues to reach the masses through his Identity radio show, bringing fans a much-needed weekly dose of top tunes in every episode. With his revered Doorn Records imprint, van Doorn continues his commitment to establishing up-and-coming producers, handpicking some of the hottest new talent to release on what remains one of the industry’s leading electronic labels.
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught producer Robert Shields – best known as ONR – has come a long way from his childhood days of rural isolation in the Scottish Highlands. Driven by an unwavering passion for music, Shields spent his young adulthood relentlessly refining his songwriting and production capabilities – a unique sound that has gone on to earn him recognition from peers across the music world such as Nile Rodgers, Bastille and most recently Sander van Doorn. Having recently signed to major label Warner Records, ONR’s latest single ‘Must Stop’ ft. Sarah Barthel of Phantogram is currently riding the airwaves and the promise of a full-length debut album also set for release early next year.
