Sonic Soul Orchestra reunite with Mishell Ivon and Mr. V to rework ‘Sueno Latino’, the 1989 Balearic classic from the Italo house group of the same name. Their version rolls on a deep, dub leaning House groove with rich pianos and a gorgeous sax line that instantly puts you in Ibiza mode, while Mishell and Mr. V deliver fresh, sensual vocals that nod to the original without ever feeling stuck in the past. Swing Ethics add a sax heavy edit that pushes the party vibe right up. After the success of ‘Stomp Your Feet’ and ‘One Love’, this release feels like a natural continuation of SSO’s momentum.
JP Firmin, also known as Sonic Soul Orchestra, has built strong traction since returning to the House scene in 2022, following years of global touring and a run of releases on labels including SoSure Music, Midnight Riot, Black Riot, Quantize, King St and Groove Odyssey. Spring 2026 saw the launch of his label People Watching, a home for warm, musical and inclusive House with a modern edge. Mishell Ivon brings long standing experience across Funk, Disco, Nu Disco and Soulful House, while New York’s Mr. V adds over two decades of influence through his work on Ultra Records, Defected, Vega Records and his own SOLE Channel imprint, with his unmistakable voice fronting classics like ‘Jus Dance’ and ‘Somethin’ With Jazz’.
