Weaving conventional pop tropes amidst a glitchy electronic soundscape, Spanish producer and composer Manu Dia releases his new single ‘Kids In America’ from his upcoming debut EP ‘Surface’.
Growing up between Brussels and the Aragon Region of Spain, a former ancient kingdom, the talented producer has been shaped by a diverse exposure to vibrant cultures, architecture and natural landscapes.
‘Kids In America’, the EPs lead single, is bursting with shimmering synths and buoyant summer melodies. “It’s a song about being young and embracing the experiences of your youth” Manu explains. “Something that will make you feel like you are on a perpetual sunset ride home.”
Having worked alongside talented DJs and producers San Holo, Robotaki, and Droeloe and securing early support from BBC Radio 1’s TOKiMONSTA, Manu Dia’s enchanting debut portrays an artist who has confidently discovered their sound.
Just last month, Australian producer 1tbsp announced he has a new ep on the way titled Hotel Living,…
