Spanish Tech House legend Coqui Selection returns to The CoCreators label Love Vibration Nation with a floor thumping tech-house ep called Do it. Soulful tech-house elements perfectly complement the almost rave-style synth that Coqui chose over his thumping main room drum stack.
This is the style Coqui has done at the highest level and he does not disappoint. Of course, The CoCreators got a crack at a remix in this pack and they certainly went all-in on the underground flavor. The duo brings a tribal house remix that harkens back to the classic Chus and Ceballos tracks and labels of yesteryear like the once-mighty Hooj Choons.
To say this tribal dub is all about the drums is an understatement. Particular care was taken with the warm analog-sounding drum rolls during the changes and tight congas and bongos throughout the track.
Picture being in a dope sweaty Latino club in Miami at 3 am with some highly skilled percussionists that really know their stuff and you get the flavor. Atmospheric touches here and there complete the picture. Not to be missed. Drums are always fun.
