Spinnin' Records has won several prizes at this year's EMPO Awards. The Dutch dance label won the award for Best Label, while Spinnin' related artists Tiësto, KSHMR, Don Diablo and EDX also claimed major awards, bringing the total to seven EMPO wins for the label, announced last night during a special ceremony in Arena Ciudad de Mexico.

The EMPO Awards are the most important prizes for the Latin American dance scene. Following last year's success, Spinnin' Records again won the EMPO for Best Label, while DJ Tiësto (whose Musical Freedom imprint is hosted by Spinnin') was awarded with the EMPO for Best Professional Career.

Other awards handed out during last night's ceremony, which welcomed over 15.000 fans, were to US producer KSHMR (exclusively signed to Spinnin') who was praised Best New Artist, while Don Diablo (a steady force on Spinnin', which is also harboring his HEXAGON label) won the award for Best Future House DJ and Producer Of The Year. Furthermore, Swiss producer EDX won the EMPO Best Remix for his remix of Sam Feldt's 'Show Me Love' last year, while he also received the award for Best Indie Dance / Nu Disco Artist.
