Steve Bug – Alto Adige
Following recent outings on Aus Music, Rejected and Knee Deep In Sound, Steve Bug returns to his own Poker Flat Recordings for his first solo release on the label since 2021’s Montafon.
Despite maintaining a prolific release and remix schedule, it’s been quite some time since we’ve been treated to a pure, unadulterated Steve Bug original on Poker Flat.
So we’re very pleased to present Alto Adige: a fantastically deep and typically meticulous two-tracker set to scratch that particular itch.
Alto Adige is a patient slow-burner, kicking off with a muted synth line that gradually opens up as the track progresses, building to a deeply satisfying crescendo in the break.
Trentino is similarly minded, with the addition of rising strings and a beautifully epic synth lead adding even more drama to proceedings.
