Stop Making Sense adds DJ Koze, Levon Vincent, The Black Madonna and The Revenge
Stop Making Sense’s stellar line up for 2015 just keeps getting stronger with a batch of new heavyweights joining Skream, Jackmaster, Anja Schneider, Nick Höppner, Anthony Naples et al in the idyllic Garden Tisno. The inimitable DJ Koze, one of Germany’s most legendary DJs and producers, will be headlining the Tessellate boat party on Friday and delivering what is sure to be one of the set highlights of the whole weekend. Raising the bar with his outstanding 2013 album Amygdala, released on Pampa, Koze is without doubt one of the most unique and eminent presences in dance music. At Barbarellas on the Friday night, New York native and Berlin dweller Levon Vincent will be practicing his science of ass-shakery for Warm (alongside Nick Höppner). A producer who’s been pushing the NYC sound to new heights with impeccable output via various labels such as Underground Quality, Osgut Ton and Deconstruct Music (which he co-runs with Anthony Parasole) Levon recently released an album for free to rapturous acclaim via own imprint Novel Sound.
SMS proudly presents The Black Madonna, resident and creative director at Chicago’s legendary Smart Bar, as The Beach Bar’s Sunday headliner for Not So Silent. With her star in rapid ascendence, The Black Madonna is known for her uplifting and dynamic vinyl sets that span disco to techno, and blend classic anthems with more idiosyncratic selections – not to be missed. One of the UK’s most prolific producers Graeme Clark aka The Revenge will be headlining the Beach Bar on the Saturday night for Get Diverted, matching the sublime setting with his personal brand of disco skullduggery. Beach Bar Friday action will be supported by Croatian DJ/radio host Jan Kinčl and the Croatian DJ comp winner representing the local scene! More headliners coming soon so watch this space…
