Sunfall line-up revealed…
Welcome to Sunfall, not just another London festival*
Launching this summer we bring you a celebration of the underground as we take over Brockwell Park on Saturday 9th July 2016.
As revealed previously we’re taking a new approach: each Sunfall ticket will be a joint ticket. One ticket will give you entry to our outdoor day festival as well as a night-session of your choice. Buy your ticket based on your chosen night-session; go day-to-night-to dawn with Sunfall.
Reflecting London’s eclectic beat, we’re proud to announce the daytime line-up for our inaugural event…
GOLDIE v D:BRIDGE
JEREMY UNDERGROUND PARIS
KAMASI WASHINGTON (live)
MISTER SATURDAY NIGHT
OM UNIT v SAM BINGA
YUSSEF KAMAAL TRIO
Curated by a group of people who live and breath this music everyday, we wanted to build something for those who are part of this city; who revel in its far-reaching scenes and sounds. This one’s for us.
This is only the beginning as we prepare to launch the night session billings later this week with more names to follow. Know you’re in safe hands though as we enlist the likes of Benji B’s Deviation, Goldie’s Metalheadz, Dimensions Festival, Phonox presents From Glasgow to Detroit, Studio 89, Outlook Festival x Just Jam, Mister Saturday Night x Rhythm Section and A Taste of Afrobeat Vibration as nighttime hosts.
Our night sessions aren’t an afterthought; they’re intrinsic to the workings of Sunfall as we support London’s incredible nightlife setting.
Festival programmer Andy Peyton says: “Our background is in London clubbing, we understand the importance of great sound and longer sets. With Sunfall we wanted to bring that attention to detail to the British summer festival we know and love. Our day-to-night concept allows us to marry these two cultures.”
Attention will also be paid to the festival’s production, something our co-founders have a wealth of experience with. Fellow programmer Noah Ball of Dimensions and Outlook festival: “We committed to this project as we knew we could deliver the same quality of production to London as we do in Croatia, we can’t wait to get going.”
