T IN THE PARK ORGANISERS REVEAL STRATHALLAN CASTLE MAP AND STAGE SPLITS

With just over two weeks to go until T in the Park gets underway at Strathallan Castle, festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partner Tennent’s Lager have today offered fans a sneak peek of the festival’s brand new home, as the site map for Strathallan Castle has been revealed for the first time (download map graphic here). Organisers have also provided festival advice and the Stage Splits, to help T in the Parkers get ready for the best weekend of the summer.

WELCOME TO THE CASTLE
T in the Park’s new home Strathallan Castle is centrally located in the heart of the beautiful Perthshire countryside, approximately one hour away from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. It lies on an estate sprawling a massive 1000 acres, surrounded by beautiful woodland.

GETTING THE PARTY STARTED
T in the Park’s Strathallan Castle house-warming party will be well and truly started on Thursday 9th July, when Thursday campers make T in the Park history when they become the first fans to set foot in the Main Arena at Strathallan Castle. The ultimate party destination Sunset Strip will be open for business on the Thursday night, with the Slam Tent rumbling into action as Ben Sims, Clouds and Animal Farm take to the decks, and bring the big club vibes to the Perthshire countryside.

There will also be DJ sets from some of the hottest club DJs right now from 6pm-midnight in the BBC Introducing tent, including Pocket Aces/SSW vs Hector’s House, Rhumba Club vs Fly Club, Musika vs Karnival, Stefan Janik, Sneaky Pete’s DJs and Big Al.

THE TENNENT’S ARMS
The Main Arena will be revealed to fans in full on Friday 10th July, and an exciting new addition to look out for is The Tennent’s Arms, T in the Park’s hippest new bar, brought to you by founding partner Tennent’s Lager, who have been at the heart of T since the festival began. The Tennent’s Arms is located in the heart of the Main Arena and will bring a laid back vibe to the Perthshire countryside with its cool interior and outdoor terrace balcony bar area, offering stunning vistas of Strathallan Castle estate. Top Sub Club DJs will be spinning the tunes day and night, so The Tennent’s Arms will be the perfect spot enjoy an ice-cold pint or a Tennent’s Lager-based cocktail at this year’s festival.

THE ULTIMATE FAIRYTALE
Inspired by the festival’s magical new surroundings, this year’s Fancy Dress Friday theme is “The Ultimate Fairytale”. Think King or Queen, knight or jester, dragon or fairy… it’s time to get creative, as the best costume will win one of the first pairs of tickets to next year’s festival.

A HOME FROM HOME
The legendary T in the Park campsite is the heart and soul of the festival – famed for its party atmosphere, community spirit and brilliant banter, it now features its very own castle, with the majestic 19th century Strathallan Castle providing a stunning backdrop to the Pink 1 and 2 camping areas.

Campsite essentials can be found in the Campsite Village, including food markets, VOLT mobile charging and funfair rides. In here you’ll also find Refresh, T in the Park’s hugely popular pamper parlour which offers access to salon standard hair washing facilities, hair straighteners, hair dryers, and premium showers and toilets (advanced wristbands sold out, restricted access bands available on site for £40 and single entry tickets available on site for £5). This year, local Forth Valley College Salon Services students will be on hand to help fans enjoy their weekend in style, and will also offer a range of supplementary hair-up styling, make-up application, and nail and eyebrow treatments.

If you’re staying in the legendary campsite over the festival weekend, make sure you pre-order your Tennent’s Lager and Magners Original Cider in advance online with Be Chilled, Tennent’s Lager’s hassle free pre-order service that is a campsite essential. Your cans will be chilled and ready for collection in the T in the Park campsite throughout your stay. Place your order now at www.tennents.com/bechilled. Over 18s only.

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
Blue 1 has been allocated as the campsite for this year’s Citizen T faithful, but with a new site and campsite layout this year, organisers are extending the Citizen T ethos into all campsites, aiming for more people than ever pledge to respect the local area, the environment, the site and each other. Fans also now have a little help from the self-proclaimed “mad wrestler fae Ayrshire” Grado, who – as the newly appointed High Protector of Strathallan – will be helping spread the word on the Citizen T Manifesto.

Festibarrow will be back at T in the Park this year, helping you to enter the festival with ease! Simply look out for the friendly team, hire your festibarrow, load up with your belongings, find your pitch and then drop the barrow off at one of the designated drop off points within the campsite.

Jolly Green Sherpas’ army of well-built, friendly staff to carry or “sherpa” your luggage for you are back too. If you are struggling with your bags, you can simply go to one of their stands at the North Campsite Entrance (beside the transport hub), where a team of Green Sherpas will be waiting to help you.

THE RESIDENCE EXPERIENCE
The Residence offers luxury living at T in the Park, and is the perfect way to experience the festival in style. As well as a range of stunning boutique glamping structures, from Sleep Huts and Hotel Bell Tents to Cloud Yurts and Indian Shikar Tents, The Residence also has its own café and bar, premium showers and toilets, and dedicated car park – check out www.theresidenceexperience.co.uk.

T BREAK STAGE
Celebrating its 20th year, Tennent’s Lager have supported Scotland’s grassroots music scene through T Break since 1996, and the T Break Stage is the place to catch Scotland’s most exciting unsigned talent at T in the Park. It’s where Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro made their T in the Park debuts, so make sure you drop by to catch the country’s hottest up and coming acts.

KALEIDOSCOPE FIELDS
Kaleidoscope Fields are located near the Radio 1 Stage, and will once again offer a perfect haven to relax, rehydrate and refuel before heading off to catch more of the amazing artists on the bill. Grab a seat with your mates in Healthy T, the festival’s global kitchen that offers quality cuisine made from the finest fresh ingredients, with an emphasis on Scottish produce.

SCOTTISH SUN SIGNING TENT
The popular Scottish Sun Signing Tent, where you can meet some of the top acts performing at T in the Park will make a return this year.

FAIRGROUND
As well as featuring fairground favourites, the funfair is home to the iconic Ferris Wheel, which will offer stunning vistas of T in the Park’s picturesque new home.

CITYLINK BUS
This year, it couldn’t be easier to get to the campsite as Citylink buses will drop fans off right at the campsite entrance – travelling by bus is the greenest, fastest and most efficient way to travel to T in the Park 2015, and bus packages are available from www.citylink.co.uk
