Vangelis Kostoxenakis - Talkback EP

Shadow Child’s Food Music returns with the ‘Talkback’ EP from hotly tipped producer Vangelis Kostoxenakis.

With recent releases on Moon Harbour, ElRow Music, Glasgow Underground and Stereo Productions Athens’ Vangelis Kostoxenakis is steadily becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Tech House scene.

Here we see him adding Food Music to his affiliate labels via the ‘Talkback’ EP, opening with ‘Ubar’, a high octane bumpy number fuelled by choppy bass hits and resonant synth licks before title-track ‘Talkback’ flips things over to a groove-led percussive vibe accompanied by an amalgamation of vocal chops and lumpy sub tones.

‘Breath’ then closes the package on a slightly deeper tip with pulsating low-end tones, dubbed out vocal swells and mind bending synth work.
