Phonetic are proud to present the new single from Stonez & Namazi.
It's been a whirlwind ride for Stonez, from playing local mini raves, to playing alongside some of the scene's big hitters including DJ Hype, Andy C & Zinc quickly rising through the D&B ranks. As he matured, his love for house music evolved and at the tender age of 21 hung up his D&B raving shoes leaving England for the sunny Mediterranean. Playing 7 nights a week, 8 hours a night, Stonez honed his craft and amassed an array of mixing styles influenced by the Acid House genre. A fan of Visionary producers like LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, A Guy Called Gerald and Inner City, you can find traces infused into his infectious DJ sets & productions.
Stonez' first release on Kevin Saunderson's KMS was championed by Carl Cox and Loco Dice. He's since gone on to release on Lou Lou, Go Deeva, the legendary Perfecto and a collaboration with Vanilla Ace.
Recent gigs include Electric Brixton for 'The ANTZ' London launch, Lightbox London where he hosts his event Confession that guests Robert James and Boris Werner performed at. This summer he launched his latest event offering 'Ritual' at London's Madison which sees Sasha, Steve Lalwer, Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Mark Knight & Eats Everything grace the decks and has gained fast notoriety on the London club circuit!
HHere teaming up with Namazi, another hot emerging talent whose long history with underground house music stems back to the 90's sees the duo collaborate on releases with Go Deeva and Love Not Money Records. Forging a strong partnership, the pair have received Global support from Claude VonStroke, Hot Since 82, Marco Carola, Simone Vitullo, David Penn, Tom Novy, Vanilla Ace, Chus & Ceballos, Jhonsson and Rob Roar amongst others.
The track also features on the chart topping 'Rob Roar Presents Ibiza Night & Day' album.
