The Deepshakerz make their almost annual return to Moon Harbour with fresh new single ‘Reasons’

The Deepshakerz make their almost annual return to Moon Harbour with fresh new single ‘Reasons’, this time with featured guest vocalist Émilie Rachel.

It’s always impossible to pin down Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore aka The Deepshakerz as they are always on the move DJing across the world, but also stylistically in the studio. From peak-time tech to slow-burning Afro house they do it all on labels like Green Velvet’s Cajual and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech. Their unique grasp of dance floor dynamics means their tunes are regularly heard in high-profile DJ sets and this new one is sure to repeat that trick. It features London-based singer-songwriter Émilie Rachel who has a broad range from future pop to deep house and has guested on plenty of big tunes that have made her a breakout vocal star.

The evocative ‘Reasons’ starts with crisp and low-slung boom-bap drums and a molten acid line that grows throughout the track. It makes for a dark and tense groove with a tribal tinge before Rachel sends shivers down the spine with her ice-cold yet soulful vocal bringing real emotion. Her stylised vocals heighten the mood and keep you locked in for this heady ride. A dub mix is also included in this fresh package.

You can always rely on The Deepshakerz to come up with the goods and that’s exactly what they do here.
