Tropicalista Thames Boat Party

For one night London’s leading Latin club-nights Batmacumba // Arriba La Cumbia // Movimientos join forces for one of the highlights of London’s summer calendar. A four hour Latin, Brazilian, Global, Ghetto bass, Tropical cruise down the Thames to a little-known delta where a long forgotten tributary of the Amazon cuts an intersection with London’s mighty river for what is always a truly hot, sweaty carnivalistic sell-out affair.

Our boat for the evening, the Dutch Master, offers a fully licensed bar, a spacious teak covered dance-floor and two large open-decks to enjoy London’s floodlit bridges and buildings – as well as the best sounds from the Latin underground… Taking in the sites of London town along the way, the musical soundtrack is provided by the pioneers of the city’s tropical movement:

DJ Cliffy (Batmacumba) will be playing his unique mix of sassy sambas, favela funk and vintage vinyl plus a mind-blowing selection of new Brazilian bangers from techno-brega to baile funk mash-ups. www.facebook.com/batmacumba.london
