Vinny Vibe & James Kennedy drop ‘Ride Like This’ on Overdrive Records

Dropping July 14th on Overdrive Records, ‘Ride Like This’ brings Spinnin’, Mixmash and Revealed alumni Vinny Vibe into the collaborative sphere of former Vanderpump Rules’ bartender and now fully-fledged producer and DJ James Kennedy.

A surefire hit for the summer, ‘Ride Like This’ attracted positive feedback well ahead of its full release. The chugging groover balances ominous basslines with rising synths and twitching FX that bristle with low-end energy. The pair throw a curveball midway to keep things interesting, delicate piano chords and a trembling snare lifting things up for a split second, before the track tumbles back down into the trembling grime.

Known for his TV tenure at SUR on the Bravo channel’s global sensation, Kennedy has since earned his stripes in the DJ booth and production studio. Vinny Vibe has had his own equal share of success, touring across North America with Pitbull and releasing on a plethora of European powerhouse labels. As these two join forces for what promises to be the first of multiple collaborations, the future looks incredibly bright.
