Wankelmut returns with new single ‘Can’t Force Love’

Multi-platinum DJ and producer Wankelmut has unveiled new single ‘Can’t Force Love’, out now.

LISTEN/STREAM

‘Can’t Force Love’ sees Wankelmut draw on his trademark vocal house sound, with feelgood piano chords and four-to-the-floor beats paired with soaring vocals. It follows March smash ‘Give & Take’, a collaborative single with Swedish singer-songwriter SVEA that has so far amassed 2.5 million Spotify streams.

“My brand new single is another chapter in that story of a Berlin-based House Music Producer who started in his bedroom and on Soundcloud alone in 2011,” Wankelmut explains. “My journey started with ‘One Day’ and now the piano-driven female power house-music track ‘Can’t Force Love’ is my new musical baby ready for the world. Personally I am very happy how the production turned out and I think we will make a lot of people happy with this one.”

Real name Jacob Dilssner, Berlin Based Wankelmut shot to fame in 2012 with his multi-platinum-selling remix of ‘Reckoning Song’ by Israeli singer-songwriter Asaf Avidan. Wankelmut had a similar level of success the following year with a remix of his collab with Australian singer-songwriter Emma Louise, ‘My Head Is A Jungle’, reaching #5 in the UK Official Singles Chart.
