UMEK’s 1505 drops new VA feat. Danny Avila, Heerhorst, Novem Vivit and Benjamin Di Bora.

UMEK’s record label, 1605, drops the 10th instalment in its Desiderati 4 series, which features peak-time techno tracks by Danny Avila, Heerhorst, Novem Vivit and Benjamin Di Bora.

1605’s Desiderati 4 series features four tracks hand-picked by UMEK that are extensively road tested in his DJ sets before being released. It’s a series that features incredible tracks by label favourites, established names and exciting new talents.

Danny Avila is a Spanish artist who hosts the Mainstage Techno radio show and he travels the world as a headline DJ. He had previously only released his tracks via his own record label Mainstage Techno Music and debuts on 1605 with an electrifying track titled “Atlantis”.

“Atlantis” has explosive percussion and a pulsating bassline that subsides for a euphoric breakdown before the drums slam back in and the track plunges back into darkness.

Heerhorst is a producer from Hamburg in Germany who has previously released on 1605 in addition to other scene-leading techno imprints such as Terminal M, CODEX and Filth on Acid. He is a regular collaborator with Teenage Mutants and this release features his fast-and-furious solo track “XTC”.

“XTC” has rattling high-end percussion and a thundering kick forming a foundation for sweeping pads and flutters of melody, while the track approaches the breakbeat rhythms of the tantalising breakdown.

Novem Vivit is a German artist who now lives in Miami, America. He is well-known for releasing on his own record label VIVENTEM in addition to other scene-leading imprints ranging from the Cosmic Boy’s Legend to Metodi Hristov’s Set About. He is making his 1605 debut with a hard-hitting track titled “Feed Your Soul”.

“Feed Your Soul” has soulful vocals and menacing synth stabs layered over high-velocity percussion and a rolling bassline.

Benjamin Di Bora is an exciting new talent from Austria who has been making waves following releases on The YellowHeads record label, Reload. This is only his fourth official release and his track “Mind Body Connection” showcases why he is such a hotly-tipped techno producer.

“Mind Body Connection” is a dark and acidic cut with industrial sounds and a captivating vocal sample that becomes the main focus of the breakdown.
