TATE SEDAR combines with P$YCHEDELIC on evocative post-EDM anthem ‘Emotions’
This summer, the Insomniac Discovery Project artist TATE SEDAR delivers an evocative new single, “Emotions,” featuring rising rapper Clayton Brann, a.k.a. P$YCHEDELIC. Known for his recent verses on “CLICK” by Ghengar (a.k.a. Ghastly) and amassing 4.7 million YouTube views on his debut single “Ballin’, Clayton brings a fresh energy to this post-EDM track that has been three years in the making. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in both artists’ careers, highlighting their trials, errors, and ultimate triumphs in the music industry.
“Emotions” weaves funk-inspired cuts, a hyper-rolling bassline, and 808 drums into a dynamic bass house format reminiscent of artists like Noizu, Sage Armstrong, and knock2. Originally conceived as a contest submission, this project evolved into a testament to TATE and Clayton’s unique creative chemistry.
The bond between TATE and Clayton deepened after their meeting at Countdown NYE. Clayton, riding the wave of his rapid ascent, confided in TATE about the pressures and sleepless nights that came with his newfound success. Inspired by their shared experiences and Clayton’s openness, TATE revisited the demo of “Emotions,” capturing the raw sentiments they had both experienced.
“Emotions” is a narrative of connection and shared experiences. It reflects the bond formed between TATE and Clayton long before they collaborated on music. This single encapsulates the essence of its titular theme, showing that art transcends the product or hype—it’s about the relationships and connections we build within the human experience.
In “Emotions,” TATE SEDAR and P$YCHEDELIC have crafted a piece that is not only sonically compelling but also deeply resonant, embodying the trials, triumphs, and emotional connections that define their journey. This track stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the unifying force of music. Check it out now.
