Christopher Kah - Wipeout EP
Strasbourg artist Christopher Kah returns to Marc Ayat’s distinguished French techno imprint A-Traction Records for a new EP entitled ‘Wipeout’, featuring three earth-shuddering underground tracks.
Demonstrating a penchant for heady techno since 2001, culminating in appearances on labels Get Physical and Gigolo records not to mention remixes for the likes of veterans Dave Clarke and DJ Hell, this December sees the experienced French producer raise the bar with a hypnotic club-pleasing package.
First up is ‘Nova’, a peak-time number, which introduces a driving low-end alongside shimmering percussion before ‘Time Out’ marches on: brimming with vitality and breaks-infused beats.
Closing the EP is ‘Earth’s Acid’, which makes tasteful use of a 303 while a hypnotic vocal cut preaches above a dark and heavy bass line.
The ‘Wipeout’ EP drops 19th December on A-Traction Records.
