Toronto's favourite summer concert + picnic series conquered rainy weather warnings as the sun bucked up and came out for another brilliant instalment of Electric Island this past Canada Day. The music brought impeccable vibes to the island as a sea of red and white manifested across the grass, in celebration of Canada's birthday. Honey Dijon's heavy drops and building basslines swelled the crowd as people danced with beaming smiles. Apollonia played a fresh, unique set with building synth leads which compelled the audience, while maintaining impeccable flow between all three members. Tale Of Us delivered a beautiful techno symphony and Marcel Dettmann b2b Ben Klock brought Berghain techno to the island to close out the day.
Next up, The Civic Holiday long weekends rounds up a nice concoction of deep grooves and permitting techno from all around the world. Toronto native and No.19 co-founder Nitin makes his annual appearance this Civic Holiday delivering his unique deep tech.
