What inspired you to develop Continuum? Was there a particular idea or emotion that you wanted to convey?
The ideas always come to me while making music, the lead sound reminds me a bit of the documentary Whale which I had seen some time before.
Can you tell us about the process of producing Continuum? Did it evolve as you worked on it?
The track is always evolving. First comes the basic idea, the kick and bass, then the melody and the arpeggiator. The most important thing is that they harmonize perfectly—that’s the hardest part but also the most rewarding when it all comes together cohesively.
The track has such a progressive and immersive vibe. How did you go about developing the distinctive sound?
My inspiration comes from the collected influences of disco, house, trance, and techno. You try to evolve and combine these elements naturally—it’s a feeling that guides you. The challenge is to create something fresh while staying true to your identity.
How does it feel to be part of Tanzgemeinschaft’s 100th release? Does it give Continuum extra meaning?
Being a part of the 100th release is truly an honour. We’ve been working together for several years now, and Claudio, the label owner, always puts in incredible effort to support his artists. A highlight for me was the label showcase at ADE in Amsterdam. I think Continuum brings something special to the release, and I hope listeners feel the same energy.
What was it like to have Katoff and Marc Nemo remix Continuum? How did their interpretations complement your original vision?
Marc Nemo comes more from a techno background. Since we have a good relationship, I asked him to remix the track to bring a different perspective, and he delivered fantastic work. Katoff, being both a talented producer and the boss of Sounds of Meow, brought his unique experience to the remix. He found a way to draw out completely new dimensions of the track. Together, their remixes add a perfect balance to the release.
What emotions or experiences do you hope listeners feel when they hear Continuum?
I hope listeners can connect with and feel the emotions I poured into the track. Whether they’re on the dancefloor or listening at home, I want the music to transport them and create memorable moments.
How does Continuum reflect your growth as an artist? Are there elements that feel like a new direction for you?
It’s hard to say right now, but I hope Continuum offers something special for DJs, listeners, and fans. It’s always exciting to see how each release contributes to my evolution as an artist.
How do you imagine this track will resonate with listeners or on the dancefloor? Were there any memorable moments playing it live?
I think anyone who connects with the track will feel good and won’t be able to stop moving. The energy is designed to keep the dancefloor alive. Playing it live for the first time was unforgettable—the crowd’s response confirmed its impact.
