Vulture Theory, HAWD HITTA and NoBueno combine for transcendent house single ‘Synthetic Sands’
Los Angeles based up and coming electronic DJ/Producer Vulture Theory teams up with HAWD HITTA, NoBueno on his latest house collaboration “Synthetic Sands”. Aiming to put an infectious twist on this already expanding genre, this trio adds a lovely bit of sonic spice to proceedings. Unique clashing synth lines and a hypnotic beat fill the air in this dynamic and fun-filled track, full of interesting moments that continue to spark intrigue throughout. The three work harmoniously with one another on this one, in this summer built anthem for the biggest and best festivals around.
Here is an interview with all three of them, all about the current EDM scene and what’s helped them get to where they are today.
Where do you see the trend going within electronic music at the moment?
HAWD HITTA: We see a big push with the tech house and bass house, as well as melodic house. Big acts are adopting some of the styles and we see it played in a lot of clubs. I’m also glad that our ideas are in alignment with what we believe is our sound and don’t make music to just go with the trend. This is a unique song for sure.
Do you see electronic music still growing, declining, or maybe something else?
NoBueno: The industry is expanding all the time, but it’s very evident with Insomniac, Goldenvoice Breakaway, and other major music festivals that there is a thing around EDM and House music that we’ve never seen before.
What are your favourite DAWs to work with when making music?
Vulture Theory: Ableton, such a great one.
What’s your favourite part of having a DJ/producer career, perhaps making music playing shows, or something else?
HAWD HITTA: I love the fact that you can connect with so many amazing people via music, whether it’s through Spotify or even at a concert or festival. This is definitely the move, fans want to feel like they’re in touch!
Were there any mentors that helped you get where you are today?
Vulture Theory: I definitely had ICON Collective as a huge resource for when I was in school there. There were many mentors that were huge in my development as an artist.
What type of theme or message do you hope people take away from “Synthetic Sands?”
Vulture Theory: We hope people understand what it took to get to this point, what it took to build this song and what it means to them. We hope that they enjoy dancing and have a great time in the process of listening to that second drop especially. It’s a blessing to see the feedback so far and we hope to have a wonderful follow up track very soon.
