Extrema Outdoor NL returns for 21st year
Extrema Outdoor is the original Dutch dance music festival and it is back once again in 2016 with another world beating line-up featuring DJs from many different musical scenes. Taking place in the lush green outdoors of Eindhoven on July 9th, it features five stages and many special treats from ANTs, Carl Cox and Ed Banger Records, and also offers some intimate and personal party experiences and plenty of surprises. As ever, the focus of Extrema is on quality music, settings and light and sound.
This festival has now been going 21 brilliant years and is the original festival in Europe. It features the sort of stages and production that others can only dream of and always makes for a multi-sensory trip that will never be forgotten. It all takes place on the shores of Aquabest, a big heart shaped lake so is in a beautiful location, with great attention to detail to every aspect of the event.
For its 21st edition, Extrema Outdoor will combine the best of the old, the current and the future. It offers the feel good vibe of small, intimate areas combined with extraordinary stages and impressive shows. The return of the techno area and the impressive closing show combined with daylong performances starting from the opening show will create beautiful and everlasting memories once again this year when even more creative and music arenas with over 100 of the world’s best known dance artist and the most inspiring secrets from techno to house, progressive to electro, will all be on show.
The first big news is that techno legend Carl Cox will be hosting his own stage with a bunch of his friends, whilst New York tech house legend and DJ superstar Danny Tenaglia will also play. Joining those two legends are Moon Harbour boss Matthias Tanzmann, UK sensation Route 94, plus the talented likes of Benny Rodrigues, Dimitri and Victor Coral with many more to come.
As well as this, world renowned Ibiza brand ANTs will host their own stage at Extrema Outdoor for the second time after the success of the debut appearance in 2015. Matthias Tanzmann and Route 94 will headline and given ANTs usually happens at open air beach club Ushuaïa, this is perfect marriage because it will play out on the open air the beaches of Aquabest.
But that’s not all, because another great addition for 2016 is the Ed Banger House Party. The famous French electro and indie dance label run by Busy P will bring the boss with label acts Para One, Boston Bun and the legendary Mr. Oizo to Extrema Outdoor for the very first time.
The full line-up will be released in March but tickets are already selling fast so move quick!
