Solberjum - Groseille (Bradley James Remix)

Up and coming DJ and producer Bradley James is continuing his rise to the top of the electronic music food-chain with another top-notch release. Hitting Beatport’s shelves on the 7th of July, 2015 Bradley James’ twist on Solberjum’s ‘Grosseille’ is part of Housesession Records’ ‘Future Housesession Vol. 2’ compilation.

The Staffordshire based talent has become one of the most interesting young artists in the current Dance music panorama. Having debuted with his single ‘Charger’, which was signed by Matchbox Recordings, Bradley James followed up with some other exhilarating releases such as ‘Visionary EP’. Boasting a unique style which sits comfortably within the different realms of House music, whilst adding old-school flavours, Bradley James has grabbed the attention of many important entities within the electronic music industry.

Within his first year in the business, Bradley James has managed to achieve two important landmarks which helped his rapid ascension, landing a deal with Housesession whilst also gaining support on BBC Introducing. Influenced by heavyweight names such as: Woods, Nicky Romero, Afrojack and his musical icon deadmau5, Bradley James is developing his skills at an impressive rate and is surely proving he’s got what it takes to reach even higher levels in the months to come.

‘Groseille (Bradley James Remix)’ is one of the leading tracks on Housesession’s freshest ten-track compilation, having a central role amongst the works of other gifted artists such as: Tune Brothers, Todd Valex, ZakuutA, Sebastian Park, Kaskeiyp, Francesco Gomez, Future Mouse, DJ Cross and Anton Liss.

Bradley James’ remix of Solberjum’s wonder kicks off with a punchy drum groove whilst transcending into a dreamy synth melody. Vocal effects add another layer of spice, whilst the remix builds up momentum, resulting into a bassy, leftfield melodic section. Traditional House vibes drive the production forward, whilst Bradley James adds different layers of sounds, offering euphoric and darker flavours. A vocal effect-led breakdown is quickly changed into an uplifting ascension which merges into the lead section. Bradley James then offers diverse variations which keep a high level of unpredictability around the track, showing his refined skills and musical taste.

Bradley James’s latest creation is now part of Housesession Records’ catalogue. Having been one of the very first labels to believe in his talent, Bradley James has returned to this label, adding weight to their already rich roster. The Stuttgart based imprint has been the home of many important names such as: Ton Don, Jimmy Carris, AM2PM, Modium, Ivan Kay, Luke Db, Tune Brothers, Martin Villeneuve, Asino, Danny Da Costa and many more.

Housesession Records has now grown into a group of labels comprising the likes of: Sume Music, Red Eleven Recordings, Bang It! Recordings, Vamos Music and UMTATA Records, which are all contributing high-quality music to their respective fields. Bradley James is certainly a perfect addition to the Housesession family, which can surely count on an artist with a great future ahead of him.
