Reverting away from the original’s dramatic nature, Lenno transforms ‘High’, opting to reflect a different kind of euphoria. Working with Millar’s vocal line, Lenno’s layered nu-disco stylings transport ‘High’ to new territories – instilling a effortless happiness not revealed by the full-bodied synths of the track’s first incarnation. While washed with electronic elements, Lenno excels at maintaining the cutting edge atmosphere of the originals, spreading layers of electronics and percussion over the commanding groove buried within the remix.
