Mother Recordings have one of the busiest release schedules of all the labels. The Berlin based outlet never fails to cook up the hard hitting house goods and here they do so again, this time with man like David Keno in charge. He is a Swiss artist based in Berlin and here comes correct with two tantalising cuts.
Play kicks things off with an amped up house style that is driven by metallic hits which slice up the groove.
Whirring chords and clipped vocal yelps all build and build to a crazy and air punching peak that really goes off. On the flip, Youth is more warped and weird, bendy and freaky with bulging bass tones, fresh hits and vocodered vocals that speak about building the pressure. It’s clean and crsip, to the point and hugely effective. Once again Mother knows best!
