Arne Spremberg - Dilemma EP
Berlin native Arne Spremberg, long-time contributor to Vienna’s party scene, as well as Sisyphos and Chalet regular, kicks off own label Domum with a dancefloor-ready pack of substantial house and techno thrills.
"Keines" opens up proceedings in compelling style, with jarred synths reminiscing of the 90’s breakbeat rave sound aesthetic but carrying it’s modern harmonies on top of the kick of a classy house composition.
"Beides" dives in on a deeper level, showing off Spremberg’s melancholic side in a piece that combines trilling strings and zig-zagging rhythms.
Fellow Berliner Narciss takes on "Beides", channeling his imprint in the form of the Schöneberg remix. Cast on an industrial bassline, this is a more stripped down, spacious synth-heavy approach of the energetic original.
Former mystery producer Man Power chimes in on the B side with his own rendition of "Keines". Adding oomph seems to come inevitable for the artist, as he rightly does here by the way of gleaming house trumpets and steel capped synths.
