Greg Monte (Jay xero’s default world name) hit me up last year because I DJ’d and did some music business stuff and all that. He had good manners on email, so we agreed to meet. We had tea at my favorite place, and he didn’t try to order coffee. He had a great jawline, was from Buffalo (at the time I was making out with this really pretty girl from Buffalo), and it worked for Drake & Future #WATTBA, so with all these things adding up, we decided to fuck with each other. I don’t mean romantically, just musically (…or did I?). Greg came up with the concept and it was 100% up my alley. Now, even if Greg is a shitty DJ (I am honestly still not sure) he can just drop #WereAllFriends and everyone will freak out. I played it the other night at a Sundance party and all these girls in fur hats came into the booth and asked me what it was and I got their numbers and sent it to them and we’re all gonna make out fo real. So it works, it’s been proven.
