Tim Baresko - Necessity EP
The Cuff label knows a thing or two about slamming out the house jams. Run by bad boys Amine Edge & DANCE, it now looks to the work of Tim Baresko for its latest outing.
As well as his two originals, the label bosses themselves step up to the plate with one of their own special reworks.
Dance Like This kicks us off and features Mike Palladino in some capacity. The track is a tense, slowly building affair that has slick drums down low and prickly power jacking away up top. Some riffing vocal loops add that dance floor freakiness we all love and it is a killer opener. Amine Edge & DANCE then add their own spin to the track and in doing so make it even more street wise and urban with cut up vox and banging drums.
Then comes another original, Needness, which is bobbling and bristling, with ghetto vocals and crisp hits as well as a knotted bassline that really bangs. All in all this is another kicking EP from the ever on point CUFF.
